Good evening,
I want to reach out to all of you to confirm that it is true that the Governor has dismissed school for the remainder of the year. Please understand that all Superintendents found this out at the same time all of you did, and in fact, some of you found out before I did.

So what does this mean for WNESU? For now, we will continue to move forward as we have been providing educations and meals over the past week with no deviation from our current delivery we have put in place.

I want to be clear that all schools will reman closed for the rest of the school year and students will continue to learn through the distant learning model. we are currently using.

The state will be providing Superintendents  with more specifics of what this means and what we will need to do moving forward.

I do not anticipate deviating from our current plan until after the April break at the earliest. Yes, April break should continue as it has in the past. YOU ALL NEED THIS TIME TO GIVE YOURSELVES A BREAK...STUDENTS AND EDUCATORS!

Please be patient as we need to adjust once again to the situation. This is not the first time and certainly will not be the last that we will need to make adjustments.

Once again, thank you for all that you do and stay safe.  Remember, we are all in this together.
