No Walk to School in January

Because we are busy with Winter Sports for K on Wednesdays, there will be no Walk to School in January.

Thank you!

Happy New Year 2017!

First day back to school is Tuesday, Jan. 3. It is Winter Sports day #1 for students in grades 1-4. We will start with Indoor Recess on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
Regular classes take place until 11:20 on Tuesdays.
Swimmers should bring a bathing suit and two towels in a plastic bag. Please wear clothes that make it easy to change.
Skiers need waterproof and warm pants, jackets, and gloves. Ski socks are long, warm, and not too thick.
Buses will return to school for 3 PM dismissal. Thank you to everyone who has indicated that your child will remain at Okemo.
Wednesday is the first ice skating morning for our Kindergarten children. Please be sure to come ready to be at the rink. Send skates and helmet if you have indicated that you have them. Ice skaters also need long socks. Darn Tough makes great ones.

Erin Kennelly will be at the office front desk this week.

Looking forward to a great January!

White Elephant Sale coming up!

The PTO sponsored White Elephant Sale will be Friday, Dec. 16. It will take place in the Art room.

Contributions of wrapping paper, gift bags of all sizes, tape, and gently used gift items for all ages (especially for dads) are appreciated.

We need volunteers to help students with wrapping. The time blocks are 9:20 – 11:00 in the morning, and 12:30 – 2:10 in the afternoon. Bringing your own scissors is helpful. It is always a lot of fun for everyone!

Thanks for Visiting

We enjoyed a wonderful turnout at our Open House! We were able to have many Winters Sports grades 1 -4 forms completed, and many other forms were taken home for completion. The Book Fair was extremely busy. Thank you, thank you!
A reminder that Winter Sports money is due the week following Thanksgiving. Our students love the swimming and skiing lessons.
Happy Thanksgiving to all our families. No School Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, Nov. 23, 24, and 25.

OPEN HOUSE and BOOK FAIR

Come visit classrooms on Wednesday, Nov. 16 from 5 to 6 PM. The Scholastic Bookfair will be taking place from 3 until 6 PM.
