Community Halloween a success!

The Saxtons River Village Halloween Parade led by the fire truck was once again a rousing success. It was fun to see children and adults of all ages in costumes. The weather was perfect. Christine Armiger made and donated two delicious soups, her Vermont Academy students were on hand to help serve, and Andy Conrad donated rolls that were a perfect accompaniment to the soups. Many students put on glow necklaces to encourage a safe evening. Many former students and students from other schools were participants. What a fun tradition!

Encourage your child to fill out the Reading Challenge log. It is exciting to see how many pages our students read!

Thanks for coming!

It was wonderful to see so many families at our Title 1 Reading Night Wednesday.  We want to encourage every student to love reading, and our teachers used this opportunity to share their classroom literacy model.  We appreciate having two Title 1 teachers, Miss Stack and Miss Sault, to support all learners.  Thank you for supporting the Scholastic Book Fair!
