Our students in grades 3 and 4 completed the English Language Arts portions of the SBAC testing the week of March 25 – 29. After a week’s break, they will complete the Mathematics portions during days of April 8-12. Thank you for supporting your child by helping him or her get enough restful sleep, eating well and staying hydrated. We are proud of our students’ efforts.

Support the bake sale and 50/50 raffle please to help our fourth-grade students enjoy their trip to Boston.
March is Student Art Month, and Mrs. Grout has arranged for our student artwork to be on display at Main Street Arts. The display will be there throughout the month, and we hope our families and neighbors will visit. Many people came to the Opening Reception on March 7th. Our students are clever artists!
All parents and community members are invited to meet the two candidates for SRES Principal on Thursday, Feb. 28th. Please come to the gym from 4:30 – 5:30.
School will close at 11:45. There will be no Winter Sports for grades 1-4 due to the expected snowstorm. Lunch will be served at school.

It is Thursday, Jan. 24th. There is a two-hour delay today due to icy road conditions. Students may start arriving to school at 10. We need all faculty and staff to be able to arrive safely in order to have supervision for all students. Please have students ready for line-up at 10:18. Thank you for your help!
Supt. Pratt has announced a two-hour delay for Tuesday, Jan. 22nd. Students may be dropped off starting at 10 AM and line-up is at 10:18. I am waiting to hear back from Okemo about logistics for our trip with the group of 27 students for pass pictures and boot fitting. We will need lunches and a bus rescheduled but hope to get it completed.
Due to icy road conditions, schools are closed in our supervisory union today. We will miss the first day of ice skating for Kindergarten. Wednesday, Jan. 16th, will be their first skating day. Be safe and warm today! The last day of school moves to Thursday, June 13th.
Our students in grades 1, 2, 3 and 4 had a wonderful time skating at Vermont Academy or swimming at the Edgar May pool on Tuesday morning. Our grade 4 students were wonderful role models and very helpful with our younger students. Nice way to Scatter Kindness!
